Experienced TIG Welder and Fabricator

Looking to hire highly skilled TIG welder and Fabricator to work directly with owner for products custom made for the Marine industry. Minimum requirement of 3-10 years of experience working with stainless steel and aluminum. Must have a high level of mechanical skills and be able to solve complex issues with extreme accuracy, precision, and professionalism. Candidate must be able to learn, retain, and apply preferred procedural aspects from visual and hands on instruction as well as draw upon their own knowledge base when / as needed.

Occasional local road work and/ or on-site work will be necessary for installations on high end boats, especially during the spring and summer months. Experience buffing and polishing stainless steel is a plus.

This is a 1099 position to start with approximately 30 hours a week with a full time W2 position available for the right candidate if they choose.

Job Type: Part-time / Full - time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour for advanced candidates. Generous performance-based BONUSES and paid vacation time with this position. Health insurance assistance for full time employment.

Schedule: Day shift

All interviews will be conducted at the shop with skill levels tested.

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Jr. Technician / General Maintenance  

1 position available 9/01/2024

Duties include:

-   general shop upkeep
-  vehicle upkeep
-  assist owner with installations & deliveries of T-Tops and other fabricated products for high end
    boats
-  various odd jobs on & around property
-  buffing stainless steel

Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be mechanically inclined, and reliable. Former experience in similar position is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check. This is a temporary to permanent PT position for the right candidate.
Hours to start are roughly 12-20 hours a week with the possibility of more during peak season.
 

$15 - $20 an hour to start. Performance based BONUSES and flexible work schedule available.
